Remove the tildes in short filenames

Open Regedit
  1. Go to Hkey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem
  2. Right Click on the Right pane
  3. Select New / Hex
  4. Add the value NameNumericTail= 0
