To fix this you need to delete the Outlook Address Book and then add it back in again.
For Outlook98 / 2000 with the Corporate Configuration:
- Control Panel / Mail
- Select the Profile you want to use if there is more than one on the computer.
- Highlight Outlook Address Book
- Click on the Remove button / Yes
- Click on the Add button
- Highlight Outlook Address Book
- Click on Ok / Ok
For OutlookXP / 2003
- Close Outlook
- Open the Control Panel / Mail icon
- Click on the E-Mail Accounts button
- Highlight View or change existing directories or address books
- Next
- Highlight Outlook Address Book (if it isn't already)
- Click on the Remove button / Yes
- Click on the Add button
- Select Additional Address Books
- Select Outlook Address Book
- Finish and Close
- Restart Outlook
